Biography

Damon Bass is head of design responsible for all Damon Bass Design projects. Founder and Principal designer: Damon Bass has 22 years experience in the architectural design profession. Damon studied architectural design in Los Angeles at the Southern California Institute of Architecture were he received Best Undergraduate Thesis Award, Academic Distinction Award and a Bachelors Degree in Architectural Design in 1997. He went on to Study Advanced Architectural Design at Columbia University Graduate School of Architecture Preservation and Planning in New York City. He received a Master of Science in Advanced Architectural Design in 1999. He returned to Los Angeles in 1999 where in 2002 he founded Damon Bass Design where he remains principal and lead designer for projects ranging from custom single family residential to 66,000 SF church sanctuary remodel projects to custom bespoke furniture and lighting designs. In addition he has worked in small to medium sized design firms; RWA Architects, Michael Lee Architects, Kennard Design Group and Jenkins Gales & Martinez in various capacities in design and production to date.
